L’institut de l’Esport de Barcelona és un centre públic de Formació professional que ofereix les formacions de la família professional d’Activitats físiques.
L’institut va començar la seva activitat el curs 2020-21 amb una oferta que ha anat creixent i ho seguirà fent al llarg dels propers cursos fins a abastar la majoria de les formacions de postobligatòria d’Activitats físiques i esportives i que, per al curs 2025-26, és la següent:
- Itinerari Formatiu Específic (IFE): Auxiliar de manteniment d’Instal·lacions esportives:
Formació de 3.360 hores distribuïda en 4 cursos acadèmics. - Programa de Formació i Inserció (PFI): Auxiliar de Suport a les persones en activitats socioesportives.
Formació de 1.000 hores impartida en un curs acadèmic, per a persones que no han obtingut el graduat de l’ESO. - Tècnic/a esportiu/iva en Futbol: Nivell 1 (455 hores) i Nivell 2 (565 hores).
Impartits en dos formats:- Intensiu en torn de matí (2 nivells en un sol curs)
- Extensiu en torn de tarda (1 nivell cada curs)
- Tècnic/a esportiu/iva en Esquí: Nivell 1 (465 hores) i Nivell 2 (620 hores)
- Tècnic/a esportiu/iva en Escalada: Cicle inicial – Senderisme (570 hores) i Cicle final (1.005 hores)
- Tècnic/a esportiu/iva en Muntanya mitjana: Cicle inicial – Senderisme (570 hores) i Cicle final (690 hores)
- Cicle formatiu de grau mitjà en Guia en el medi natural i el lleure
Formació de 2.000 hores impartida en dos cursos acadèmics. - Cicle formatiu de grau superior en Ensenyament i animació socioesportiva.
Formació de 2.000 hores distribuïdes en dos cursos acadèmics. - Cicle formatiu de grau superior en Condicionament físic.
Formació de 2.000 hores distribuïdes en dos cursos acadèmics. - Certificat de professionalitat de Socorrisme en instal·lacions aquàtiques.
Formació de 370 hores impartides en un sol curs acadèmic en horari de tarda per a persones en situació d’atur.

The Institut de l’Esport de Barcelona is a public vocational training centre that offers training courses in the physical activities vocation.
The institute began its activity in the academic year 2020-21 with an offer that has been growing and will continue to do so throughout the following academic years until it covers most of the post-compulsory training courses in Physical and Sports Activities, and which, for the academic year 2025-26, is as follows:
- Specific training formation as Sports Facilities Maintenance Assistant (Auxiliar de manteniment d’Instal·lacions esportives) – Level 1 Training of 3.360 hours distributed in 4 academic courses for people with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities.
- Training and Integration Programme (PFI): Support assistant for people in social and sports activities (Auxiliar de Suport a les persones en activitats socioesportives).
Training of 1,000 hours in one academic year for people who have not obtained the ESO diploma. - Sports technician in Football (Futbol) Level 1 (455 hours) and Level 2 (565 hours). Taught in two formats:
- Intensive in the morning (2 levels in a single school year).
- Extensive in the afternoon (1 level each school year).
- Sports technician in Ski (Esquí) Level 1 (465 hours) and Level 2 (620 hours). (1 level each school year).
- Sports Technician in Climbing (Escalada ): Initial Cycle – Hiking (570 hours) and Final Cycle (1.005 hours). (1 level each school year).
- Sports technician in Medium Mountain (Muntanya mitjana) Initial Cycle – Hiking (570 hours) and Final Cycle (690 hours).(1 level each school year).
- Intermediate VET degree in Guiding in the natural environment and leisure (Guia en el medi natural i en el lleure). Training of 2.000 hours given in two academic years.
- High VET degree in Social and Sports Education and Animation (Ensenyament i animació socioesportiva) Training of 2.000 hours distributed in two academic years.
- High VET degree in Fitness (Condicionament físic) Training of 2.000 hours distributed in two academic years.
- Professional Certificate in Lifeguarding in water sports facilities. (Socorrisme en instal·lacions aquàtiques). Training of 370 hours taught in a single academic course in the afternoon for unemployed people.
