Projecte 2022-24

For students

During the course year 2022-23, we worked on the Erasmus+ project called “Same & Different, Peace & Justice”. This project was created together with the French school Cité Scolaire Bróceliande and the Italian School Liceo Gambara. All first of Batxillerat (16–18 years old) students participated in the project through the eTwinning platform, created by the European Union for the implementation of international projects. Our project has a website (TwinSpace) on the eTwinning platform, a secure virtual learning environment. This is the link to our Twinspace.

Overview of objectives and activities

The project’s digital activities were carried out in the project’s TwinSpace from the English and Philosophy (common) subjects; some specific sessions were dedicated to them. There were special activities at the centre when our European partners came to visit us during 11th-15th April 2023.

The main objectives included: reflecting on SDGs 4, 16 and 17; boosting our students’ communication and teamwork skills; fostering creativity; etc., as well as practising foreign languages and growing in the following key skills: digital; personal, social and learning to learn; citizenship; and cultural awareness and expression.

Mobilities to France and Italy, and student selection criteria

A key element of the project, and the specific content of the grant, was the visit to our partners’ centres for a week. These centres were Cité Scolaire Bróceliande, in Guer, French Brittany, and Liceo Gambara, in Brescia, Italy. Some of our pupils stayed with host families during their mobilities, which took place from 26th March to 1st April 2023. Many students participated in the selection, and the final list of those who were selected was published and visible here.

The selection criteria are public and transparent and are published on our school’s website, being the student’s involvement in the project one of them.
