Erasmus+ students enjoy a unique eTwinning experience in Brescia (March 2025)

From March 10th to 14th, 10 first-year Batxillerat students from our school took part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Brescia, Italy, as part of the eTwinning project “Argonauti. Supportive and Effective Learning in an AI Digital Environment”. This exchange was much more than just a trip: it was an opportunity for learning, personal growth, and cultural connection.

At Liceo Fabrizio De André, students explored topics such as metacognition, artificial intelligence, and philosophy, engaging in lessons and even philosophical debates in English. Beyond the classroom, they strengthened their English and Italian skills by using both languages in real-life situations. Cultural visits to Verona and Milan allowed them to experience Italy’s rich history and artistic heritage firsthand.

More than just an academic experience, this Erasmus+ exchange provided full immersion. Students stayed with Italian host families, adapting to a new way of life and embracing daily routines different from their own. This experience pushed them to step out of their comfort zones, become more independent, and form friendships that will likely last beyond the project. We are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome from both the school and the host families, who made us feel at home every step of the way.

The exchange was a truly enriching and positive experience, and now we look forward to the second part of this adventure. From May 5th to 9th, students and teachers from Brescia will visit our school, discovering our culture and daily life. We are excited to welcome them with open arms and continue learning together in this amazing experience!  

Alumnes d’Erasmus+ viuen una experiència eTwinning única a Brescia

Del 10 al 14 de març, deu alumnes de primer de Batxillerat de l’institut han participat en una mobilitat Erasmus+ a Brescia, Itàlia, en el marc del projecte eTwinning “Argonauti. Supportive and Effective Learning in an AI Digital Environment”. Aquest intercanvi ha estat molt més que un simple viatge: ha estat una oportunitat d’aprenentatge, creixement personal i connexió amb una nova cultura.

A l’institut Liceo Fabrizio De André, els estudiants han aprofundit en temes com la metacognició, la intel·ligència artificial i la filosofia; han participat en classes i debats filosòfics en anglès; a més, han reforçat l’aprenentatge lingüístic gràcies a l’ús continu de l’anglès i l’italià en un entorn real. Però l’experiència no s’ha quedat només dins l’aula: les visites culturals a Verona i Milà han permès als alumnes descobrir de primera mà la riquesa històrica i artística d’Itàlia.

Més enllà de l’aprenentatge acadèmic, aquest Erasmus+ ha estat una immersió total. Els alumnes han estat acollits per famílies italianes, amb qui han viscut el dia a dia com uns estudiants més del país. Aquesta experiència els ha ajudat a sortir de la zona de confort, guanyar autonomia i establir llaços d’amistat que, segurament, perduraran més enllà del projecte. Ens sentim molt agraïts pel calorós tracte rebut tant per l’institut com per les famílies, que ens han fet sentir com a casa en tot moment.

L’experiència enriquidora i positiva continua, i ara esperem amb il·lusió la segona part de l’intercanvi. Del 5 al 9 de maig, alumnes i professors de Brescia ens visitaran i tindran l’oportunitat de conèixer el nostre institut i cultura.

Estem preparats per fer-los sentir com a casa i continuar compartint aprenentatges en aquesta experiència única!
