Nou alumnes de 4t d’ESO han participat en els tastets d’oficis que organitza Foment Terrassa. Unes al de “servei de cafeteria” i altres al de “desenvolupament de videojocs”.
Han gaudit i treballat a parts iguals.

In the elective course English Around the World, we have been working on the differences between the United Kingdom and Great Britain, among other things. We have also looked for sweet recipes typical of English-speaking countries and prepared a recipe contest.
In the following pictures, you can see the result of the contest. There were 3 prizes to the best video recipe, to the best recipe presentation, and to the best tasty recipe. All the recipes tasted delicious and the videos were great fun.

L’alumnat que participa en l’aprenentatge servei (APS) del Rebost ha participat enguany en el Gran Recapte organitzat pel Banc d’Aliments. Han pogut viure en primera persona la campanya de recollida d’aliments per a les persones que més ho necessiten, i han gaudit d’un aprenentatge molt real!
La setmana vinent aniran al Rebost per tal de classificar i recomptar tot el que s’ha recollit a Terrassa.

Les i els alumnes de sisè hem visitat les instal·lacions de TV Terrassa. Lligat amb el nostre projecte de “Fem de reporters” aquesta sortida ens ha aportat més coneixements per millorar la capacitat comunicativa i per saber realment com funcionen els mitjans de comunicació. El passat divendres, l’alumnat de 1r d’ESO vam fer una visita al Palau de la música catalana on vam poder gaudir d’un espectacle de jazz, soul i swing. Allà vam aprendre l’origen de la música popular així com les connexions entre diferents músiques d’arreu del món. Vam quedar encisades amb l’expressió de les emocions a través de la música i el ball!
A més a més, vam poder visitar alguns dels llocs més emblemàtics de la ciutat comtal.
L’alumnat voluntari de 4t d’ESO de l’assignatura Aprenentatge i Servei (APS) ha començat la seva formació per participar en el pla d’acompanyament lector del LECXIT. En aquesta sessió, la qual ha tingut lloc a la Biblioteca del districte 3 de Terrassa, els han explicat com s’ha d’estructurar cada sessió, i els han donat idees per treballar amb els nostres infants de 4t de primària.
Com podeu veure a la foto l’alumnat de 4t està molt motivat per començar i conèixer a les seves parelles lectores. Queden només 3 setmanes per engegar la 2a edició del LECXIT al nostre centre!!!

Last week our students went to Cinema Catalunya in Terrassa to watch the film RACE whose protagonist is Jesse Owens. His quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history thrusts him onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics, where he faces off against Adolf Hitler’s vision of Aryan supremacy. RACE is an enthralling film about courage, determination, and friendship, as well as an inspiring drama about one man’s fight to become an Olympic legend.
The students enjoyed the film and the nice walk to go and come back from the cinema.
If you haven’t seen this film, it’s a must!
Els grans ho tenim clar…
This week the students of Sala i Badrinas from I3 to 4th of ESO have enjoyed different Halloween activities! As you can see in the pictures, the little students from the Comunitat de Petits have done a Lights & Shadows session, and autumn works. The Comunitat de Mitjans has created very scary monsters, and our big students from the Comunitat de Grans have created their own witches’ potions.
Some of our teenagers have done Jack-o-lanterns, and others have made colourful skeletons and skulls.
