CELEBRACIÓ DE L’ENGLISH DAY
Avui dia, una de cada quatre persones al món utilitza l’anglès. L’anglès s’utilitza cada cop més com a mitjà de comunicació entre dos parlants amb llengües maternes diferents.
Per la seva importància, el 30 de maig l’Institut Escola Pallerola va celebrar el seu primer English Day. Per començar amb bon peu aquesta celebració, vam veure un vídeo d’obertura creat per alguns dels nostres alumnes de 3r d’ESO, i la resta del dia vam fer diverses activitats, com tallers d’arts i manualitats, concursos de decoració de temàtica anglesa, vídeos culturals i Kahoots, pel·lícules i jocs en anglès, balls escocesos, karaoke… Fins i tot vam tenir un menú especial! Ens ho vam passar molt bé!
ENGLISH DAY CELEBRATION
Today, every one in four people in the world uses English. English is being used more and more as a way for two speakers with different first languages to communicate with each other.
Because of its importance, on May 30 Institut Escola Pallerola hosted the first ever English Day celebration. In order to start off on the right foot such a celebration, we watched an opening video created by some of our 3rd ESO students, and we spent the rest of the day doing several activities, such as arts and crafts workshops, English themed decoration contests, cultural videos and Kahoots, movies and games in English, Scotting dancing, karaoke… We even had a special menu! We had so much fun!
