Last week, we organized the first ART DAY in the school. During all the day, children participated in three different workshops to create three murals about the artists we had been working about. They are Judith Scott, Sonia Delaunay and Janet Sobel.
In Judith Scott workshop the kids wrapped some objects with wool, cable, plastics following the artist’s style. In Sonia Delaunay workshop children created a big mural with lots of circles and in Janet Sobel workshop children used the drip painting technique to make a big mural about Art. We got really dirty!
It was a great experience where children could work mixed with children of other grades and they had the opportunity to use different techniques to create ART!
