Yesterday afternoon we finished our English Day. 6th grade students prepared a gimkana for 5th graders. We played and we did activities in our playground while we practised the alphabet, the time, spatial orientation and we also got in touch with all the students from our cycle. We had fun although it was hard to speak in English all the time!

Ahir a la tarda, per acabar d’arrodonir l'”English Day”, els alumnes de sisè van preparar una gimcana pels alumnes de cinquè. Tot jugant i fent activitats al pati de l’escola, vam practicar l’alfabet, les hores, l’orientació en l’espai i també vam interactuar amb tots els nens del cicle.
Ens ho vam passar molt bé tot i que no va ser fàcil parlar en anglès tota l’estona.

After meeting Dracula in the morning theatre play, when we arrived to the school in the afternoon we discovered that some teachers were bitten by a vampire. Luckily, a VanHelsing descendant left a box with the antidote. The only problem was that we had to prove that we were not vampires by solving a series of enigmas to crack the codes and open the box. Look at the pictures to dicover if we saved the teachers from transforming into vampires!

Després de conèixer a Dràcula a l’obra de teatre del matí, en arribar a l’escola a la tarda vam descobrir que alguns mestres havien estat mossegades per un vampir. Afortunadament, un descendent del VanHelñsing ens havia deixat una caixa amb l’antídot. L’únic problema era que havíem de demostrar que no érem vampirs resolent els enigmes que ens permetrien desxifrar els codis per obrir la caixa. Mireu les fotos per saber si vam evitar que les mestres es transformessin en vampirs!

The Magicians class have just finished a project about the TV. In the language sessions we wrote the script to do our own TV program. Here you can see the program in English. The program includes the news, advertisments, an interview and the weather forecast. We hope you like it!
