Sidney, our language assistant, has offered us a unique experience by sharing various aspects of her American culture. This week, we had the opportunity to taste two typical American sandwiches: the classic “peanut butter with jelly” and the surprising “marshmallow.” In addition to discovering these new flavors, we learned to dance a “linedance” with country music, an activity that everyone loved.

The Cicle Superior students loved this cultural immersion. Sidney conveyed the traditions of her country with enthusiasm, letting us to know and appreciate the American culture a bit more. It was an enriching experience that allowed us to open our minds to new traditions and forms of fun. We are all very grateful for the opportunity to learn with her.

 

 

 

 

 

La Sidney, la nostra auxiliar de conversa, ens ha ofert una experiència única compartint diversos aspectes de la seva cultura nord-americana. Durant aquesta setmana, hem tingut l’oportunitat de tastar dos entrepans típics dels Estats Units: el clàssic peanut butter with jelly i el sorprenent marshmallow. A més de descobrir aquests nous sabors, hem après a ballar un line dance amb música country, una activitat que ha encantat a tothom.

L’alumnat de Cicle Superior ha gaudit molt d’aquesta immersió cultural. La Sidney ha sabut transmetre amb entusiasme les tradicions del seu país, permetent-nos conèixer i apreciar una mica més la cultura nord-americana. Ha estat una experiència enriquidora que ens ha permès obrir la ment a noves costums i formes de diversió. Tots estem molt agraïts per l’oportunitat d’aprendre amb ella.
