The Workshop about Electicity and Circuits is aligned to STEM objectives. We love Electricity and Circuits.
We learn about everyday appliances, safety tips and circuits.
We learn the following:
- Electricity is a flow of ‘bits’ of electricity
- A flow of energy requires a circuit
- Current is moving electricity
- A circuit is a map for the current to follow
- Electricity can only flow around a complete circuit without gaps
- Switches break and complete circuits
- Some materials allow current to flow through them. They are called conductors.
- Some materials don’t allow current to flow through them. They are called insulators
We also make predictions about changes to the circuit and check these predictions. We work in teams and use light bulbs, wires, batteries and switches.

El taller sobre electricitat i circuits treballa amb objectius STEM. Ens encanta l’electricitat i els circuits. Coneixem els electrodomèstics quotidians, consells de seguretat i circuits.
Aprenem el següent:
· L’electricitat és un flux d’energia.
·Un flux d’energia requereix un circuit.
· El corrent elèctric és electricitat en moviment.
· Un circuit és un mapa per l’electricitat.
· L’electricitat només pot circular al voltant d’un circuit complet, sense buits.
· Els interruptors permeten interrompre i completar els circuits.
· Alguns materials permeten que l’electricitat passi a través d’ells. Es diuen conductors.
· Alguns materials no permeten que hi circuli la corrent. Es diuen aïllants.
També fem prediccions sobre canvis en els circuits i comprovem aquestes prediccions. Treballem en equip i fem servir bombetes, cables, bateries i interruptors.
