As usual at this time of year, our primary school ‘Farigolins’ and ‘Farigolines’ have been carrying out some Christmas traditions from English-speaking countries. Yesterday all of the students from years 1, 3, 4 and 5 took part in a Christmas sing-song outside in the playground to share the songs they have been working on in class. It was great fun, especially for the ‘fillols/es’ and ‘padrins/es’ in years 1 and 5 who stayed a good while longer playing Christmas-themed playground games together.

Today, the the ‘fillols/es’ and ‘padrins/es’ in years 2 and 6 met up in the school entrance hall. Year 6 acted out the famous Christmas play, ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens and year 2 sang their version of the ‘5 Days of Christmas’. Everybody has been working very hard these past few weeks and it was very exciting to perform for our partners. What a lot of lovely memories we have made!

Aquestes últimes setmanes, els farigolins i les farigolines de Primària, han estat treballant algunes tradicions nadalenques típiques d’alguns països de parla anglesa. Ahir, l’alumnat de 1r, 3r, 4t i 5è van cantar-se nadales en anglès els uns als altres al pati de l’escola. Tots i totes van gaudir d’aquest moment de trobada, sobretot 1r i 5è, que són fillols i padrins, i que després van compartir una estona de joc guiat sobre l’hivern i el Nadal.

Avui, l’alumnat de 2n i 6è, també fillols i padrins, s’han trobat al passadís central. L’alumnat de 6è ha representat l’obra “Conte de Nadal” de Charles Dickens i 2n ha cantat una nadala. Ha estat un moment d’allò més especial ple d’orgull i il·lusió pel resultat de les actuacions.

Acabem el trimestre amb el cor ple de records i estones compartides així com de goig per la bona feina feta.
