Living things need energy from other living things living or growing in their habitat.

First check you can categorise the animals into herbivores and carnivores AND producers and consumers. Then play the game to create some food chains you can find in one habitat. Remember to start with a plant (producer).

Why is the last food chain special?

This is a game of strategy for two people or sides. You have to create the conditions for your animal to have the biggest population in one ecosystem. Can you do it?
