Who is who 3rd and 4th grade

Hello again! I leave you another unit for this week which is related to the superheroe unit. Remember! You don’t need to do all the activities. I give the same advice. Choose three activities minimum and if you want to do more, you can (of course).

First of all, let’s do it differently this time and we are going to start with art.

Can you describe your puppet? Can you label the parts of the body in English?

Bogglesworld offers us a possibility to play bingo in our house. First of all, we print and cut the different vocabulary cards. Secondly, we put them faced down in a pile. We can prepare some cards with four, five or six items each. We either print or draw them. Once you have the material, we are ready to play.

Now let’s play our favourite game. We must explain it to our families. It’s the shooter game. Remember that we make a circle with one person in the middle, who is the shooter. Each person has got a flashcard. When one person is shot he or she cracks so the other people has two say the name of the flashcard the other have. The last to say the word is out.

If you want more flashcards about body parts this is your page.

Do you want to play Who is who? You can play with your families?

I provide you with a grid which includes some questions to ask in English. Here you also have the template. Remember how the game works. We play in pairs and each one chooses a character. We ask each other questions and the other answers yes or no.The winner is the first to guess the character from the other person.

Here you have a very easy wordsearch where you can review the parts of the face.

Creativity is something fantastic. Why you don’t create your own monster? How many eyes does he or she have? Put him or her a name. How old is he or she? Where does he or she live?

In order to continue with physical descriptions and creativity, I recommend you the next webpage:

Let’s play online games about the body. Here we focus on vocabulary.

In the British Council you can find this song:

Here you have a worksheet with activities for the song: https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/sites/kids/files/attachment/songs-the-scary-skeleton-worksheet.pdf

Can you match the senses with the body parts? What do we need to smell? And to see?

This is a very simple worksheet to identify body parts and senses.

If you read Little Red Riding Hood, you will learn something about senses.

https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/es/short-stories/little-red-riding-hood

You already know the story. Let’s see if you can follow it in English. Do the activities that go with the story.

There are different puppets from the story.

You can also make puppets with socks or spoons. Give your ideas and use the puppets to speak in English.

Next, just listen to a poem about senses with online games and worksheets.

Do you like this poem? What are your favourite things to see, smell, hear, touch and taste? Tell us about them!

Let’s explore the sense of taste. Watch this video!

Are you ready for the super quiz senses. Here you have a link with the quiz. It isn’t easy.

Finally, you can colour the clown following the instructions. This is a very easy activity.

I hope you enjoyed the lesson. Next week we are going to talk about clothes. You will see! A lot of games and surprises are waiting for you!
