Emily has been teaching the year three students about her home town, London! In the first lesson students learnt about the monuments, transport and symbols of the city. In the second lesson Emily told them a real story called The Great Fire of London, which took place in 1666. Then, in the last lesson, the children made their own poster about London! They wrote a fact, then drew and coloured in their favourite things about the city.
Everyone enjoyed learning about London and said one day they will visit to practice their English!
L’Emily ha estat ensenyant els alumnes de tercer com és la seva ciutat d’origen, Londres! Durant la primera sessió els nens i nenes van aprendre quins són alguns dels monuments, transports i símbols de la ciutat. Durant la segona sessió, l’Emily els va explicar una història real anomenada El Gran Incendi de Londres que va succeir el 1666. Llavors, l’últim dia, els alumnes van fer el seu pòster sobre Londres. Van escriure una dada històrica sobre l’incendi, també van dibuixar i pintar allò que més els ha agradat sobre aquesta bonica ciutat.
Tothom s’ho ha passat d’allò més bé descobrint la ciutat, fins i tot han dit que algun dia la visitaran per practicar l’anglès!
