Aquest curs 2024-25, hem estat seleccionats dins el Programa internacional d’Auxiliars de Conversa.
This academic year 2024-25, we have been selected for the International Program of Language Assistants.
L’objectiu del Programa és millorar les competències comunicatives de l’alumnat en llengua estrangera. La funció principal dels i de les auxiliars de conversa és col·laborar amb els docents per complir aquest objectiu i donar a conèixer la cultura dels països on es parla aquesta llengua.
The objective of the Program is to improve students’ communication skills in a foreign language. The main function of the conversation assistants is to collaborate with the teachers to fulfill this objective and to make known the culture of the countries where this language is spoken.
El 15 d’ octubre es va incorporar la nostra Auxiliar, Emily, de Londres, que serà a l’escola fins al 30 de maig. L’Emily començarà fent intervencions a primària, de 2n a 6è, tot i que farà actuacions puntuals a la resta de cursos seguint les activitats programades a la nostra Programació Anual.
On October 15th, our Helper, Emily, joined us from London, who will be at the school until the 30th of May. Emily will start doing interventions in primary school, from 2nd to 6th grade, although she will do occasional work with the other grades, following the activities scheduled in our Annual Program.
L’Emily estarà habitualment a l’escola de dilluns a dijous en horari de matins, i excepcionalment algun divendres (en cas de festes especials) amb les diferents mestres d’anglès, que variaran segons les activitats que es programin.
Emily will usually be at school from Monday to Thursday mornings, and exceptionally some Fridays (in case of special holidays) with the different English teachers, which will vary according to the activities that are scheduled.
El 25 d’octubre, coincidint amb la celebració de la Castanyada del matí a primària, abans de començar les danses, vam fer la presentació oficial davant les famílies, fent-li uns obsequis per part de l’escola. També li vam posar deures, ja que com que la pròxima celebració és Nadal, ha de descobrir “qui” o “què” és el Tió!!!
On October 25, in the morning, coinciding with the celebration of the Castanyada at the primary school, before the dances started, we made the official presentation to the families, giving her some gifts from the school. We also gave her some homework, since the next celebration is Christmas, she has to discover “who” or “what” Tió is!!!
També vam fer una acollida amb tots el professorat, en què va poder començar a conèixer alguns costums i artistes de la nostra ciutat.
We also held lunch with all the teachers, in which she was able to get to know some of the customs and artists of our city.
