During the first school week our pupils took part in a special activity to learn how to work as a team. This activity is called “Cooperative squares”
This game is similar to a jigsaw which consists of building 5 squares in teams out of the pieces each pupil has. Each team member gets an envelope with some pieces of squares which don’t match. One of the rules of the game is that players can not steal pieces from any other members of their team. On the contrary, they need to observe what their partner is doing and help him/her to build their square offering them suitable pieces.The most challenging rule of the game is that they are not allowed to speak to each other.
The winning team is the one who manages to assemble five squares which are the same size but helping each other without speaking.
Durant la primera setmana els alumnes van participar en una activitat per aprendre a treballar en equip. L’activitat es diu “Quadrats cooperatius”.
Aquest joc és similar a un trencaclosques que consisteix en construir 5 quadrats en equips amb les peces que cadascú té. Cada membre d’un equip té un sobre amb peces de quadrats que no encaixen. Una de les normes del joc és que els jugadors no poden robar peces de cap altre company del seu equip. Al contrari, han d’observar el que fan els seus companys/es i oferir les peces que els fa falta. La norma més desafiant és que no està permès parlar durant el joc.
L’equip guanyador és el que aconsegueix construir els 5 quadres del mateix tamany ajudant-se entre ells i sense parlar.
