On Thursday 16th January, we were lucky enough to have the privilege of listening to the New Yorker Cristina Vargas. She gave some fantastically dynamic talks about cinema, English literature and Australian culture. She had everyone captivated, on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next funny joke. She made the audience part of her show (she even phoned her mother and sister to help the quiz contestants and get everyone involved).
