This week in class my teacher told us that we have to write a biography of ourselves. So let’s start with my name. I’m Berta and I live in Ponts. The next year I will celebrate my 16th birthday. I will tell you a little bit about myself using as a reference three important thing that happened to me and changed my life.
The first one happened four years ago, when one summer my family and I decided to take an aupair to speak English with us. At the beginning we were so nervous because we didn’t know how it would be living and sharing moments with her. The girl we met was Australian. Her name is Peggy and she has become like an older sister to me, we still keep in touch. She sometimes comes to see us and we are planning to visit her in Australia, soon. As a result, I have learnt that we don’t have to be scared to met new people. Maybe that was why, two years ago I started a new adventure. This is the secord important thing that happened to me.
Since I was little I’ve always loved dancing so I decided to join a school of dance. There, I have met new people and I have made a good group of friends. At the moment, this has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
Finally, the last big moment is that this year I have changed schools. After having some problems with my classmates, another friend, and I decided to make a change and start a new and different year. But after all, nowadays we are all good friends and I’m happy with that and very excited to start this new stage with all of you.
From all these facts I have learnt that we always have to be friendly to meet new people and take all the good things of them.
