EXPERIMENTS: LUNGS MODEL & VOLCANO

Hello families!

Fifth grade students have worked during this last month on the different systems and apparatus of the human body. For this reason, we have been learning about this topic in English in the “science/experiments” subject. The activity consisted to understand the process of inhalation and exhalation in the respiratory system. As you can see, we have built a visual model of the lungs using school materials.This activity not only provides a visual representation of the respiratory system, but also allows students to actively participate in the learning process through the creation and manipulation of the lung model.

Sixth grade students have been working on the formation of the landforms and the internal geological processes. For this reason, in the area of “science/experiments”, we have done an activity that consists of carrying out a practical experiment to visualize volcanic activity and it has allowed us to understand the parts of a volcano and the eruption process. This experiment not only provides a practical and interactive experience, but also facilitates the understanding of concepts related to volcanoes in a memorable way for students.
