Last week we had a lovely visit. Four students from Bath Sap University, Rebecca, Georgia, Thomas and Millie, came to see our school. They wanted to compare (similarities and differences) between the Catalan and British Educational System.
Moreover, they did different activities with us, such us storytelling, sharing experiences about their own country and speaking activities.
It was a wonderful time and enriching experience for us and for them.
This year in first cycle of Primary we study the vocabulary of Christmas. We explain Christmas traditions and we watch a vídeo that help us to understand and have a good time.
Also we watch the story a Dot in the Snow, by Corrinne Averiss. Take a look, it’s a very nice story!
The students of 4th grade sang the Christmas song in “Els Pastorets”. They did it very well!

Aquest mes de juny l’escola ha celebrat el seu primer English Day. Un dia dedicat a l’anglès on s’han dut a terme diferents activitats en llengua anglesa ( espais de jocs de taula, activitats a l’exterior com per exemple el joc anglès de cricket, activitats multimèdia a l’aula d’informàtica, explicació de contes, arts and crafts, kareoke, visualització de pel·lícules en anglès. Per concloure la diada vàrem ballar tots junts per acomiadar-nos! Va tenir molt d’èxit i esperem tornar-ho a celebrar el proper curs!
Els alumnes de cicle superior, del 12 al 14 de juny del 2017 vam poder experimentar durant tres dies unes colònies per primera vegada una estada d’immersió lingüística en llengua anglesa, acompanyats dels monitors de l’alberg i els mestres de l’escola.
Va ser una experiència molt positiva per tots nosaltres.
