Welcome to the High school Serra de Noet from Berga.
Our high school has been established as an educational reference centre from its beginings. It has incorporated the existing educational models for an essential teaching and learning, and it promotes new technologies that society demands.
The Educational Project includes identifying features and educational commitment to form autonomous and competent people who can join, effectively, and as complete as possible, to society.
The professionals from our high school have demonstrated their competence and rigor in teaching in many approaches:
– To adapt to changes in the administrative implementation of the curriculum based on competences and incorporating new technologies.
– To foster an accurate attitude in terms of learning (interdisciplinary projects to promote gifted, incorporating English as a language of instruction in some subjects, etc.) has favored students’ academic capacity.
– To establish an ongoing collaboration with families to contribute to a better achievement of educational goals.
– To maintain a humane customized relationship, aiming that our students grow as people, seeking continuous improvement.
Therefore we consider teachers EDUCATORS; and values such as respect, dialogue, tolerance, personal autonomy and self-improvement identify ourselves more than simply knowledge transmitters.
We work on projects that give consistency to teaching practice; “European Youth Company (EJE),” Foreign Languages Plan, e-twinning “The school adopts a monument (PEAM),” etc.
