The 3rd year ESO students of our school have shared an unforgettable experience with the students and teachers of the Gemeinschaftsschule in Neumünster (Germany). During this week of exchange, we have strengthened ties while we discovered together the richness of Catalan cultural heritage.
The program of activities has allowed us to travel through our history and traditions: from the discovery of the universe of Gaudí with a guided tour of the Casa Milà, to a fun escape city through the alleys of the old town of Girona.
In Blanes, we have taken advantage of the good weather to sail along the coast and enjoy the beach, in addition to attending the theater performances of the high school classmates. One of the most special moments was the celebration of Sant Jordi, in which we held a literary workshop to compare the legends of Sant Jordi and Siegfried, and we prepared personalized bookmarks that we dedicated to our exchange partners.
Beyond practicing languages, this stay has served us to open our minds and forge new friendships. They leave with their backpack full of memories and we already count the days to meet again.
See you soon, Neumünster!
