ERASMUS+ Visit from Istituto Comprensivo “Palazzo-Salinari” (Italy)

Recently, our school had the pleasure of welcoming teachers from Istituto Comprensivo “Palazzo-Salinari” in Montacaglioso–Pomarico, Italy. The visit was carried out by the two English teachers, Antonia Maria Marchitelli and Katia Montermurro, together with the school principal, Alma Tigre. The main aim of their stay was to plan and organize the student visit that will take place next May.

We already knew Antonia Maria Marchitelli through our previous collaboration on eTwinning projects, which has helped to strengthen the professional relationship between our schools and made this visit especially meaningful.

During these days, they had the opportunity to get to know our school, our teachers and students, our teaching methodology, our educational projects, and the local environment. In addition, we worked collaboratively to organize the different activities that will be carried out during our next meeting in May.

This experience has been highly positive and enriching, allowing us to strengthen ties, share common educational projects, and continue building a strong partnership between our schools.

80 Days Around Europe: A Travel Agency

Our 6th Graders Join the etwinning Project “80 Days Around Europe: A Travel Agency”.

We are excited to share the wonderful experience our 6th-grade students had this year as participants in an eTwinning project titled “80 Days Around Europe: A Travel Agency.” Together with partner schools from Turkey and Italy, our students embarked on a virtual journey across Europe, discovering cultures and traditions through collaborative and creative activities.

This project aimed to provide primary school students with a virtual travel experience that not only enriched their understanding of the world but also fostered key 21st-century skills, including language development, cross-cultural communication, and global citizenship.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and effort our students showed throughout this project. To see all the works they have created and shared with their etwinning friends, we invite you to visit our project’s digital wall:
