My lovely pupils from year 3rd.
As you know we are in a quarantine and step by step we will be able to do more and more thinks that we can’t do now.
That is why we should practice this important grammar as it is perfect for this moment.
You know what the verb “can” means “poder hacer o permitido”, and “can not (can’t)” means “no poder hacer, no permitido o prohibido”.
AFFIRMATIVE
I can go out for a walk. (no puedo ver a mis amigos hoy)
I am allowed to go out for a walk (tengo permiso para salir a pasear)
It is prohivited to play with friends. (Está prohibido jugar con amigos)
NEGATIVE (not)
I can’t play with my friends yet. (No puedo jugar con mis amigo aún)
It is not allowed to play with friends yet. (No está permitido jugar con amigos aún)
We are using a lot the word “allowed”.
“Allowed” is the opposited to “prohivited”. (Permitido es lo opuesto a prohibido).
ALLOWED = CAN DO IT = NOT PROHIVITED
NOT ALLOWED = I CAN NOT DO IT = PROHIVITED
So, watch the video and below answer the questionaire.
