Out turn came! We also visited the Town Hall and we talked to the Mayor of Cornellà , Mr. Antonio Balmón, who answered our questions politely. Then we walked through the Barri Centre of Cornellà looking closely at many places of interest and learning about the story of our town. We saw a few old country houses (masies) that have been restored, some old archeological remains and monuments dedicated to relevant persons. We learned that we live in a city rich in history!
Va arribar el nostre torn!Vam visitar l’ajuntament i vam parlar amb l’alcalde de Cornellà, el Sr. Antoni Balmón, qui va contestar les nostres preguntes molt amablement. Tot seguit vam passejar pel Barri Centre de Cornellà observant molts llocs d’interès i aprenent sobre la història de la nostra ciutat. Vam veure algunes masies que han estat restaurades, algunes restes arqueològiques i mounuments dedicats a persones rellevants. Hem après que vivim en una ciutat rica en història!
