Today we have spent a great day in CATALUNYA EN MINIATURA. We have gone all over Catalonia visiting many comarques and its most representative monuments and buildings. We have also played a game to know well where the 42 comarques of Catalonia are and finally we have taken the train to appreciate how beautiful this land is!
And to put the finishing touch to this great day, we have gone to the Colònia Güell (Santa Coloma de Cervelló), which was one of the most important industrial colonies in Catalonia. We have admired the beautiful modernist buildings and Gaudy’s crypt. Now, we know that the construction of the Colònia Güell began in 1890 thanks to Eusebi Güell. Workers worked and lived there because the Colònia Güell was actually an urban nucleus in itself. You can visit it and learn many more interesting things about life in an industrial colony!
Avui hem passat un dia fantàstic a CATALUNYA EN MINIATURA. Hem viatjat per tota Catalunya visitant moltes comarques i els seus monuments i edificis més representatius. També hem fet un joc per saber ben bé on es troben les 42 comarques de Catalunya i finalment hem agafat un tren per apreciar com de bonica és aquesta terra!
I per acabar aquest gran dia, hem anat a la Colònia Güell (Santa Coloma de Cervelló), que va ser una de les colònies industrials més importants de Catalunya. Hem admirat els meravellosos edificis modernistes i la Cripta Gaudí. Ara sabem que la construcció de la Colònia Gúell va començar el 1890 gràcies a l’Eusebi Güell. Els treballadors i les treballadores treballaven i vivien allà perquè la colònia era de fet un nucli urbà en sí mateix. Podeu visitar-la i aprendre moltes més coses interessants sobre la vida en una colònia industrial!
