We’re learning about Ancient History and now it’s time for Greeks! We’re amazed with Greek alphabet! Do you know that Greek alphabet is a writing system that was developed about 1000 BC and it is the direct or indirect ancestor of all modern European alphabets? We have writen our name using the Greek Alphabet and we have played a matching game composed of pairs of cards. We have matched a picture with its correponding name in Ancient Greek. We have learned that Catalan, Spanish and also English have many terms derived from Ancient Greek. And we have got a surprise! One of our classmates has learned the Greek alphabet! Watch the video! Estem treballant l’Edat Antiga i ara és l’hora dels grecs! Estem meravellats amb l’alafabet grec! Sabeu que l’alfabet grec és un sistema d’escriptura que va ser desenvolupat fa uns 1000 anys AC i és l’avantpassat directe o indirecte de tots els alfabets europeus moderns? Hem escrit el nostre nom utilitzant l’alfabet grec i hem jugat a un joc de relacionar format per parells de targetes. Hem relacionat imatges amb el seu nom corresponent en grec antic. Hem après que el català, el castellà i també l’anglès tenen molts termes derivats del grec antic. I tenim una sorpresa! Un dels nostres companys ha après l’alfabet grec! Mireu el vídeo!
