Last Friday, the pupils from CM and CS went to the theatre to attend an English play called Robin Hood. The play was held by IPA Productions, a theatre company with a large and well known experience producing fun and quality professional theatre in English for schools around Catalonia and Spain.
The kids love going to the English theatre, they enjoy and learn English at the same time. We prepare the play beforehand in the English lessons so that when it comes the day the children understand more easily and take advantages of the play. Once in the theatre, they all want to be on the stage and participate in the activities proposed by the the actors. The atmosphere is great and we all have fun singing the songs. It’s great!
This school year we have seen Robin Hood. England has a problem: the Sheriff of Nottingham, the rich and evil tax collector. Our hero, Robin Hood is convinced he is the only one who can save the country. With bow, arrows and sword he fights heroically in the name of justice. He is brave and not afraid of anyone. he takes from the rich and returns to the poor.
We love the plays and look forward to them every year.
