Last week we celebrated the “PEACE DAY” in our schools and in the English lessons we decided to include different activities to talk about it. We focused on FRIENSHIP and we discussed the importance of “Being a good friend” VS “Not being a good friend”. It was interesting to see different points of view on each situation and how they lead us to find non-violence solutions to conflicts. We also talked about “The Buddy Bench“(el banc de l’amistat), and how and when we could use this special place.
We love singing, so we could not miss singing a nice song. The oldest kids sang “Where is the love” by Black Eyed Peas, and the youngest sang and performed “I have peace in my fingers“, they did it really well, it was AWESOME!
