Our fantastic trip to Oxford

Our trip to Oxford this year with our Year 2 secondary school kids has been a great success.

After getting used to the new food and meeting their host families, every morning the 20 girls and 2 boys have taken part in a number of exciting activities in the morning including going punting (going on a boat trip), a sightseeing trip of  Oxford, a visit to the Natural History Museum and visiting Christchurch College where Harry Potter was filmed. They even had quite a bit of time to go shopping for souvenirs!

In the afternoons, our students have had three hours of English classes. These sessions have centered mainly on speaking and topics of interest to our students.

On the second day, we also made a fantastic trip to London where we went on a guided cruise of the River Thames. After getting off the boat we visited the main sights in central London including Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus and finally Covent Garden where we were finally picked up by coach and taken back home to Oxford.

All our students have told us that they have had a wonderful time and don’t want to return to Lleida.
