My name is Paulina and I was born on the 15th of February in 2004, so now I’m 15. I live with my little brother and my parents in Ponts, a small and charming village in the west of Catalonia. Although I was born here, my parents are from different countries: Bielorrussia and Romania, and as result of this, I can speak a bit of Russian and Romanian.
Now, I think I can start explaining more about my life and some of my experiences.
Since I was a little girl, I loved all the types of music and I was in love with all the musical instruments. When I was three, my parents decided that I would have music lessons in the music school of my town. After three years, I started playing the violin and the piano. I was in love with these musical instruments so some years later, I started going to another music school. There, I met new people that now are more important for me than others in the past. Now, as a result of this change, I can say that music unites people.
Another lesson that life gave to me happened many years ago. It was at Christmas Holidays and I was 8. My parents and I were walking around Barcelona and we heard a dog crying inside a box. Immediately we went to see what was happening. Someone abandoned it. When I saw the dog, I started to cry and my parents decided to take the dog with us at home. Then, I learned that everyone should have an opportunity to live a life.
My last and more tragical story has happened this summer. One of my family’s best friend died due to a cancer. I can’t explain with words the pain that this caused to us. This person gave me good advice for life, and always said to me that I have to live the present. The only thing I learned, is that everyone should live everyday as if it were their last day. Don’t waste your time.
