In order to commemorate Women’s Day, 4th ESO students have been taught about the essential contribution of female writers in English to literature. Authors such as Mary Shelley, Agatha Christie, Margaret Atwood and Maggie O’Farrell, among others, have been briefly introduced. Students have reflected on the role of female writers throughout history and the way equality has been achieved in literature.
