Hello everybody and welcome to our English blog! 👋

This blog has been created with the idea of helping students to review at home the topics they are working on in the English classroom. So, here, you will find some material that is being used in the classroom, other material that will be useful to reinforce their linguistic skills and some information related to activities that have been developed.

We hope you enjoy it!

5th. Mediterranean Sea through acrostic poems

During this last month, 5th grade students have been working on the Mediterranean Sea project. In order to incorporate the English language to the project, they have written acrostic poems related to that topic. They have done an incredible work, so here you have some examples to enjoy.

8th March. International Women’s Day

March 8th is considered the International Women’s Day. According to the end of our school’s week coeducation project, we’ve been talking about important women, and we’ve made collaborative colouring posters about them. You can see the results in the picture below.

6th. Ancient Rome

Sixth graders are working on Ancient Rome.

Would you like to know things about this topic? Click on the picture and you will see the activities we’ve been doing.

3rd, 4th & 5th. The Amazing Robin Hood

This year we’re going to the theatre to watch a play called The Amazing Robin Hood produced by Transeduca.

And we’re practicing a song that is going to appear in it. If you want, you can listen to it and practice with its lyrics.

Do you know what we’re fighting for? The clock is ticking and the time has come. Spread the love now, fight for love now, don’t judge. Do you know what we’re fighting for? It’s in our hands, tell the people everywhere. Let’s fill the air, we can all unite. It’s in our fate, together we can make it. Freedom is our call, it’s in my blood. We are the superheroes, we can save the world. So come together ‘cause together we are one. Let’s build our home. A place that we call home. A place that we know.

Let’s celebrate Halloween!

Last october we had the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in our English class and we had some fun playing a digital breakout

Students got into groups and after some instructions, they started solving the different clues so they could open a nice locked box with sweets!

Then, we spent some time dancing to the rhythm of scary songs! We had a great time! In the pictures you can see some of our students dancing!
