Avui ens hem llevat ben d’hora perquè ens esperava una sortida molt especial. Després d’esmorzar a l’hotel per agafar energia, ens hem dirigit cap a l’escola, on ja ens esperava un autocar que ens havia de portar fins a la capital de Grècia: Atenes.
Un cop arribats, hem començat la visita a un dels llocs més emblemàtics del país: l’Acròpolis. Acompanyats d’una guia, hem pogut conèixer de prop alguns dels monuments més importants d’aquest conjunt històric i descobrir la seva història. Ha estat molt interessant escoltar les explicacions sobre aquest espai tan significatiu de la cultura i la civilització grega.
Després de la visita a l’Acròpolis, hem continuat el recorregut pels carrers principals d’Atenes, on hem pogut veure de prop l’ambient de la ciutat i alguns dels seus espais més representatius. La ruta ha culminat davant del Parlament grec, on hem tingut l’oportunitat de presenciar la cerimònia del canvi de guàrdia, una tradició molt característica que ens ha cridat molt l’atenció.
Per acabar aquesta jornada tan especial, tots els participants hem anat a dinar plegats a un restaurant, compartint una estona de descans després d’un matí ple de noves descobertes.
Sens dubte, ha estat un dia molt enriquidor que ens ha permès conèixer millor la història i la cultura de Grècia, i que quedarà com un dels records més especials d’aquesta experiència.

Today we woke up very early because a special trip was waiting for us. After having breakfast at the hotel to gain some energy, we headed to the school, where a bus was already waiting to take us to the capital city of Greece: Athens.
Once we arrived, we started our visit at one of the most emblematic places in the country: the Acropolis. Accompanied by a guide, we had the opportunity to see some of the most important monuments of this historic site and learn about their history. It was very interesting to listen to the explanations about such a significant place in Greek culture and civilization.
After visiting the Acropolis, we continued our walk through the main streets of Athens, where we could experience the atmosphere of the city and see some of its most representative places. The route ended in front of the Greek Parliament, where we had the chance to watch the changing of the guard ceremony.
To finish this special day, all the participants had lunch together at a restaurant.
It was a very enriching day that allowed us to learn more about the history and culture of Greece, and it will surely remain one of the most special memories of this experience.
