With 2nd and 3rd grade we learned a story and a song about fruit.
We did a “fruit tasting” game with blind folded eyes using our senses. We touched, smelled, and tasted the fruit and we had to guess what fruit it was.
We had so much fun!!
After that, we had to answer some questions about each fruit: What fruit is it? What colour is it? Is it sour or sweet? Do you like it?
The following day we prepared a fruit salad: we chopped or squeezed the fruit and we mixed it.
It was delicious!
Also, we practiced “What’s your favourite fruit? My favourite fruit is…” structures, asking to our classmates.
