The students of Middle and Superior Cycle are learning about a contemporary artist called Yayoi Kusama. She is a Japanese artist and she is well-known for her dots obsession. She works primarily in sculpture and installation, and is also active in painting, performance, video art, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts.The students are learning about her life and art by doing different class activities in the English&Art subject. They really love her art and enjoy the activities proposed in class.

Els alumnes de Cicle Mitjà i Superior estan aprenent sobre la vida de Yayoi Kusama, una artista contemporània. La Yayoi és una artista coneguda per la seva obsessió pels punts de colors. Treballa amb una gran varietat de disciplines artístiques, incloent la pintura, el collage, l’escultura, l’art performance i les instal·lacions. Els nostres alumnes estan coneixent la seva vida i obra realitzant diferents activitats artístiques a les classes de ENGLISH&ART. Ho estan disfrutant molt!

It was a fun activity and i enjoyed a lot. I learned a lot about Yayoi Kusama and contemporary art, i think it would be fun to travel to one of these installations or museums in Tòquio.
