Today we have lived an exciting experience! We have gone to Sant Boi de Llobregat and we have met Edu, a sheperd who takes care of a flock of sheep. This activity belongs to the project RAMATS AL BOSC . Its main goal is conserving the values of farming and Mediterranean pastoralism for a common good.
We have learned that sheep clean the forest to prevent forest fires. This is an ecological way to look after our environment. We also loved to hug little lambs! After sharing these great moments with Edu and his sheep, we have gone for a hike to the hermitage of Sant Ramon. It is located at the top of the mountain of Sant Ramon (also known as Montbaig). What a beautiful sight! We have spent a wonderful day all together enjoying nature and friends!
Avui hem viscut una experiència molt emocionant! Hem anar a Sant Boi de Llobregat i hem conegut l’Edu, un pastor que té cura d’un ramat d’ovelles. Aquesta activitat pertany al projecte RAMATS AL BOSC.El seu objectiu és preservar els valors de la ramaderia i el pastoralisme mediterrani com bé comú.
Hem après que les ovelles netegen el bosc per prevenir focs forestals. Aquesta és una manera ecològica de cuidar del nostre entorn. Ens ha agradat molt abraçar els xais! Després de compartir aquests magnífics moments amb l’Edu i les seves ovelles, hem fet una excursió a l’ermita de Sant Ramon. Aquesta es troba a dalt de tot de la muntanya de Sanr¡t Ramon (també coneguda com Montbaig). Quines vistes més boniques! Hem passat un dia meravellós tots i totes plegats/des gaudint de la natura i els/les amics/gues!
