Today our 5th grade students went to La Sagrada Família, one of the most attractive places for tourists, to practice their oral speaking skills.
During the morning, they also visited the basilica, as this year marks the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudí.
During the last weeks, they have been preparing a set of questions to ask foreign tourists visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona. First, they did a brainstorming activity in cooperative groups using the Padlet app. Then, from all their ideas, they selected 10 questions to ask today around the basilica.
We had a really great time, and they were able to practice their pronunciation and oral communication skills in a real context. Everything went very well!

Avui l’alumnat de 5è ha anat a la Sagrada Família, un lloc molt atractiu per als turistes, per practicar l’expressió oral.
Durant el matí, també han visitat la basílica, ja que aquest any es commemora el centenari de la mort d’Antoni Gaudí.
Durant les darreres setmanes, han estat preparant un qüestionari per fer als turistes estrangers que visiten la bonica ciutat de Barcelona. En primer lloc, van fer una pluja d’idees en grups cooperatius mitjançant l’aplicació Padlet. A partir de totes aquestes idees, van seleccionar 10 preguntes per fer-les avui pels voltants de la basílica.
Ens ho hem passat molt bé i han pogut practicar la pronunciació i l’expressió oral en un context real. Tot ha anat molt bé!
