Today we have visited the Town Hall and we have been talking to the Mayor of Cornellà , Mr. Antonio Balmón, who has answered our questions politely. Then we have walked through the Barri Centre of Cornellà looking closely at many places of interest and learning about the story of our town. We have seen a few old country houses (masies) that have been restored, some old archeological remains and monuments dedicated to relevant persons. We have learned that we live in a city rich in history!
Avui hem visitat l’ajuntament i hem estat parlant amb l’alcalde de Cornellà, el Sr. Antoni Balmón, qui ha contestat les nostres preguntes molt amablement. Tot seguit hem passejat pel Barri Centre de Cornellà observant molts llocs d’interès i aprenent sobre la història de la nostra ciutat. Hem vist algunes masies que han estat restaurades, algunes restes arqueològiques i mounuments dedicats a persones rellevants. Hem après que vivim en una ciutat rica en història!
