Our 5th graders told the classic repetitive Halloween story, “In a Dark, Dark Wood.”
This traditional tale builds suspense through repetition and rhythm, and it has been a great opportunity to practise using “There was…” in a fun and meaningful context.
The students enjoyed telling this classic with expression and creativity!
