In Arts and Crafts we have created some cave painting.
Before beginning, we collected some ashes, a stone, some berries and a stick. We started by crushing the berries with a stick mixing a little water to make a smooth red paste. Then we crushed the chalk with a stone, griding it to powder. When we got the powder, we mixed it with water to make a white paste.
To all these we mixed the ash with a little water to make a grey paste, adding more water or asg to get the right texture.
Once we had the painting to copy, we started to reproduce the images.
Our paintings were used to give our classroom door the effect of being a prehistoric cave.
Aquest any els alumnes de segon vam triar el projecte de la Prehistòria. Des de l’àrea de plàstica, estem fent el projecte de “Stone age”. Fem un viatge a través del temps i aterrem a l’època prehistòrica on fem pintures rupestres utilitzant tints naturals.
Guix, cendra i mores són els materials utilitzats per a fer la pintura. El resultat va ser espectacular i ells van aprendre a fer pintura amb materials que trobem pel carrer o per casa.
