Erasmus+

Today, on March 13th, we have board on a great adventure; we have started our trip to Norway, which is carried out through the Erasmus+ project.

In particular, everything started around 10:15h on Sunday morning, under the drizzle in Barcelona, at which time all the participating members had agreed to meet at the airpor. We are 8 students (Jecelyn, Shahmir, Ainhoa, Amabela, Ángel, Ignac, Noèlia and Momna) and 2 teachers (Jesús and Verònica).

Our trip schedule was organized in such a way that we had four flights (with the airline SAS) and three stopovers. So the first plane took us to Stockholm (Sweden), and the next one to Oslo (Norway).

Everything seemed to be going very well, until some troubles and unforeseen events came to keep us company on this long journey. It turned out that, after arriving at the Oslo airport, due to some problems with the ticket scanners, we missed our flight to Trondheim (NOR), therefore the flight to Brønnøysund (NOR).

Under the desperation and the uncertainty, we were forced to make a new plan to gain time and be able to get to our final destination as soon as possible, not wasting any time; so we bought tickets to take a overnight train to what was supposed to be our next destination by plane. From there we would take a plane again to our final destination: Brønnøysund.

Once we had the plan B all set, we tried to relax because it was really stressful.

As for the long stretch by train, which was about 7 hours approximately, the night was long and cold, but we made it through.

After that, we met up at Trondheim’s airport with the Slovenian team, and we flew together to Bønnøysund in a very very small plane! It looked like a private jet! Once we landed at the tiny airport, two teachers and the headmaster of Hilstad school, in Hommelsto, drived us straight to the high school in a car, all the Spanish team (the students) took the same car. Once we arrived, after a road with great views of the fiords, snow and beautiful landscapes, the Norwegian team performed Shreck’s theater show, and we had a lot of fun watching it. Afterwards, we did some ice breaking activities and gave us some presents, and as we didn’t have time to do much more, we went to our hosts’ homes to meet their families, have dinner with them and go to sleep as soon as possible because of all of us were super tired after the long first two days of our trip!
