After a few weeks, we managed to finish the project based on selkies. They are mythological creatures that can shapeshift between seal and human forms by removing or putting on their seal skin. They feature prominently in the oral traditions and mythology of various cultures, especially those of Celtic and Norse origin.
We have watched the film “Song of the Sea”, we also researched a bit about Irish culture and, finally, we used Gaelic – English dictionaries.
We had a great time and our students really enjoyed the work.
