Avui hem visitat l’institut George Pompidou College. Després de la benvinguda del director, hem observat una classe de Geografia i Història de 13-14 anys, on treballaven la Revolució Francesa amb material organitzat en un padlet. Els alumnes treballen en grups de 4 que es sortegen, i no tenen ordinadors a l’aula, però la majoria en disposen a casa. La professora va explicar que l’examen es penja al padlet prèviament, amb preguntes optatives per adaptar-se als diferents nivells.

Today we visited George Pompidou College. After the director’s welcome, we observed a Geography and History class of 13-14 year olds, where they were working on the French Revolution with material organized in a padlet. The students work in groups of 4 which are drawn, and they do not have computers in the classroom, but most have them at home. The teacher explained that the exam is posted on the board beforehand, with optional questions to adapt to the different levels.

Un aspecte destacat és que són els alumnes qui van a les classes dels professors, no a l’inrevés.

An outstanding aspect is that it is the students who go to the teachers’ classes, not the other way around.

A la classe de tutoria, els alumnes van treballar l’orientació formativa i professional amb un dossier que incloïa un test d’interessos i la detecció de competències.

In the tutoring class, the students worked on training and professional guidance with a dossier that included an interest test and the detection of skills.

Després, vam assistir a una xerrada d’una policia sobre la prevenció del racisme i el sexisme, on es van tractar temes com diversitat i llibertat d’expressió.

Afterwards, we attended a talk by a police officer on the prevention of racism and sexism, where topics such as diversity and freedom of expression were discussed.

A la tarda, hem vist una classe d’Educació Física on es preparaven per una prova combinant resistència i concentració. Finalment, vam visitar una classe de música on preparaven una cançó on els propis alumnes havien canviat la lletra.

In the afternoon, we saw a Physical Education class where they were preparing for a test combining resistance and concentration. Finally, we visited a music class where they were preparing song which they changed the lyrics.
