Today we experienced our third day in Greece, a journey full of learning, teamwork and new discoveries!
The day started early as we woke up and had breakfast at the hotel to recharge our energy. Afterwards, we headed to the school, where we met again with our Greek and Romanian friends. It was a very special moment, as each day we feel more connected. To begin the school day, we spent some time playing together to strengthen group cohesion and build stronger bonds among all participants.
Then, we went up to the classroom to start the academic activities. Today we learned how Micro:bit robots work and worked in mixed international teams to solve different challenges. It was a very enriching experience, both in terms of technological learning and cooperative work. We programmed the robots to perform different tasks such as measuring a plant’s humidity, calculating noise levels, counting heartbeats, and detecting whether recycling was being done correctly. It was a practical and motivating way to apply the STEAM methodology.
After completing the challenges, we also had the opportunity to see how a 3D printer works and to learn about its many uses. It was very interesting to understand how this technology can contribute to innovation and help solve real-world problems.
Once the school day was over, we went to have lunch at a typical Greek restaurant, where we enjoyed local cuisine. At 4:00 p.m., we met again with our international friends. The Greek students had prepared a tour of the most emblematic places in the town for us. The visit ended at a café, where we enjoyed an ice cream while continuing to chat and play together.
To finish the day, we had dinner at an Italian restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious pasta dish. It was the perfect ending to an intense and rewarding day.
Our students say that they understand English better every day and that they are making new friends, which makes us very proud. This experience is proving to be enriching both academically and personally.
We are looking forward to tomorrow, when we will continue working on sustainability through the STEAM methodology and, in addition, we will visit the city of Delphi together with all the international students.

Avui hem viscut el nostre tercer dia d’estada a Grècia, una jornada plena d’aprenentatges, convivència i descobertes!
El dia ha començat ben d’hora: ens hem llevat i hem esmorzat a l’hotel per agafar energia. Tot seguit, ens hem desplaçat cap a l’escola, on ens hem retrobat amb els nostres amics i amigues grecs i romanesos. Ha estat un moment molt especial, ja que cada dia ens sentim més units. Per començar la jornada, hem compartit una estona de jocs per afavorir la cohesió de grup i reforçar els vincles entre tots els participants.
Després, hem pujat a l’aula per iniciar les activitats acadèmiques. Avui hem descobert com funcionen els robots Micro:bit i hem treballat en grups mixtos internacionals per resoldre diferents reptes. Ha estat una experiència molt enriquidora, tant pel que fa a l’aprenentatge tecnològic com al treball cooperatiu. Hem programat els robots perquè realitzessin diverses funcions relacionades amb la sostenibilitat i el benestar, com ara mesurar la humitat d’una planta, calcular el nivell de soroll de l’entorn, comptar el batec del cor o detectar si s’estava reciclant correctament. Sens dubte, una manera pràctica i motivadora d’aplicar la metodologia STEAM.
En acabar els reptes, també hem pogut veure de prop el funcionament d’una impressora 3D i conèixer els seus múltiples usos. Ha estat molt interessant comprendre com aquesta tecnologia pot contribuir a la innovació i a la resolució de problemes reals.
Un cop finalitzada la jornada escolar, hem anat a dinar a un restaurant típic grec, on hem pogut tastar la gastronomia local. A les 16 h ens hem retrobat amb els nostres companys i companyes internacionals per continuar compartint experiències. Els i les alumnes grecs ens havien preparat una ruta pels llocs més emblemàtics del poble, una visita guiada molt especial que ha culminat en un bar, on hem pogut menjar un gelat mentre continuàvem xerrant i jugant plegats.
Per acabar el dia, hem sopat en un restaurant italià on hem gaudit d’una pasta boníssima. Ha estat el tancament perfecte per a una jornada intensa i molt profitosa.
Els nostres alumnes expliquen que cada vegada entenen més l’anglès i que estan fent nous amics i amigues, fet que ens omple d’orgull i satisfacció. Sens dubte, aquesta experiència està sent molt enriquidora tant a nivell acadèmic com personal.
Esperem amb il·lusió el dia de demà, en què continuarem treballant la sostenibilitat amb la metodologia STEAM i, a més a més, farem una excursió a la ciutat de Delfos, acompanyats de tot l’alumnat internacional.
