This morning, we enjoyed a magical English storytelling session at the Pare Ignasi Casanovas Library in Santpedor. Thanks to the entertaining performance by the Tale Teller company, we were immersed in two stories from classical mythology: the greed of King Midas and the vanity of Medusa.

We saw how King Midas reacted when everything he touched turned to gold, and how Medusa’s appearance was transformed. Not only did we listen eagerly, but we also sang the song we had practiced, and some of us even got to become one of the characters. How lucky we are to have experienced this opportunity!

Aquest matí hem gaudit d’una estona del conte en anglès ben màgic a la biblioteca Pare Ignasi Casanovas de Santpedor. Gràcies al divertit espectacle de la companyia the Tale Teller, ens hem endinsat en dues històries de la mitologia clàssica: l’avarícia del Rei Mides i la vanitat de la Medusa.

Hem pogut veure com el Rei Mides reaccionava quan tornava en or tot allò que tocava i, com la Medusa es transformava el seu aspecte. No només hem escoltat amb ganes, sinó que hem cantat la cançó que havíem treballat i hi ha qui s’ha arribat a convertir en algun d’aquests personatges. Quina sort de viure aquesta oportunitat!
