Through the eTwinning platform, we have contacted another school in Badalona (Itaca School) and we have carried out a small postcard exchange project for Saint Patrick’s day in English. Previously, 4th graders made their own physical description. Each student was then paired with another one, received their partner’s name and physical description, and finally, postcards were drawn and customized based on these physical characteristics. Additionally, we have been able to study the cultural aspects surrounding this celebration in the classroom.
We hope that this project, at a state level, will help us to continue participating in other international projects.
