On the 17th March, was Saint Patrick’s day and in our school we celebrated the ENGLISH DAY. Students from the 6th grade organized four different workshops for the rest of the primary school.
They were:
- Board games
- Karaoke
- Kahoot
- Action games
The whole day, primary school students had to wear something green on their clothes or accessories.
We celebrated that day because it is a very important day for the English speaker community, especially the Irish one.
In the afternoon, we watched a theater show in English, performed by an actor.
In our opinion there were some students that did not respect the rules and the language (spoken Catalan all the time) and we felt a bit disappointed.
Anyway, we think that it’s a great idea to continue doing this activity in the following years.
We had a lot of fun! 😆
