The 5th November a man from India came to our school. He was from New Dheli, a big city in India. He is an Arts and Crafts teacher visiting our country for some weeks.
Years 5 and 6 joined together in the English class to listen to him.
We learnt 5 different types of decorations: two flowers, a garland, a wheel and a cane. All of them made out of coloured silk paper. He said: “no glue” and then he translated: “sin pegamento”. The origamis were really amazing.
He spoke to us in English but with an indian accent. That was new for us. At the end of the show some children asked him a few questions.
It was a great activity! 😆
