Christmas time is coming and 6th grade students participate in an Etwinning project.
What is Etwinning? It is a community for schools in Europe.
It is a free and safe platform for teachers to connect, develop collaborative projects and share ideas in Europe.
This is the first project where our school participates and it is called CHRISTMAS WISHES.
It consists of an exchange of Christmas cards with two schools of Poland ( “Przedskole Miejskie NR 12 Legionowo” and “Publiczna Szkola Podstawowa w Slawnie”) and one of Italy (“Scuola Primaria Polo 2”). We also are going to share traditions of this time of the year and some typical Christmas songs of our countries.
The first part of the project is the introduction of the schools that develop this project. Each school prepares a brief explanation to locate the school and know a little bit more. This presentation has been done by the “Australia”group.

Then, 6th grade students made the Christmas cards. They should include: a presentation of themselves, a greeting in English and the same greeting in Spanish and Catalan. Here you are some photos of the process.
Now, the Xmas cards are already sent. We have to wait for receiving ours. Meanwhile, we are going to learn traditions about Christmas in others Europe’s countries.
