Hello families!

Last Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th Gayle Dalton, the teacher of Extraescolar d’anglès, came to explain some funny stories to 1st and 2nd grade:

1st grade listened to the following stories:

  • The three little pigs.
  • The gingerbread man.
  • Five little monkeys.

2nd grade listened to the following stories:

  • The enormous turnip.
  • The gingerbread man.
  • Five little monkeys.

Children enjoyed the stories in English! Here there are some pictures of the storytelling:

THE DAYS OF THE WEEK

In third grade, students have been learning about the origin of the name of the days of the week. They have learnt a rhyme to practice stress in English language.

A tercer, els alumnes han après l’orígen dels noms dels dies de la setmana. S’han après una rima per practicar el ritme de la llengua anglesa.

The challenge of the month.

Des de l’aula d’anglès, fem una petita nova proposta als nostres alumnes: reptes logico-matemàtics en anglès. 

Es proposarà un nou repte cada mes, tots els nens i nenes a partir de tercer poden participar de forma totalment voluntària i els qui resolguin el repte…….trobaran la seva foto a la porta de l’aula!!

Com podeu ajudar les families desde casa?

  • Encoratgeu els nens i nenes a demanar el repte a la mestra.
  • Compartiu una estona divertida amb ells intentant resoldre el “problema”.
  • Ajudeu-los a entendre les consignes que es donaran en anglès i el més important de tot…….no els doneu la resposta, deixeu-los pensar, manipular, dibuixar i gaudir dels jocs!!
